IYSF supports Garioch Sports Centre Table Tennis Club

Inverurie Youth Sports Foundation (IYSF) was delighted to provide financial support to the Garioch Sports Centre’s new Table Tennis club.

The support is funding top level coaching from ex Scottish champion David Low and has allowed the club to purchase a table tennis robot to enhance club sessions and develop players performance, it will also be available for use at club open days. The club has been well attended since its creation.

Gary Wilson, IYSF Secretary, commented: "On behalf of the IYSF, we are delighted that we have been able to support the development of the new Table Tennis Club here in Inverurie. We would like to take the opportunity to wish these new club members all the very best for the future, and we hope they enjoy the table tennis robot which will further enhance their table tennis skills."

IYSF welcomes applications from a number of individuals and clubs, including young individuals participating in sport and new clubs in the local area, which provide access to an Olympic sport not already available in the area, and existing clubs, to whom there are a number of grants available.
